Views

Status

The main view. Displays a full juju status-style breakdown of the selected model:

  • Applications — name, charm, channel, revision, units, status and workload message
  • Units — workload/agent status, machine or pod, address, ports; leader units marked with *
  • Machines — id, state, address, instance, base, AZ (IaaS models only)
  • SAAS — consumed remote offers and their status
  • Offers — cross-model offers with active/total connection counts
  • Integrations — all relations with live status column (peer hidden by default; press p to show/hide); relations being removed show as removing

Press Enter on any app to open its Config viewer, or on any relation to open the Relation Data inspector, or on any machine to open the Machine detail modal.

In the Machines panel, press u to expand each machine and see which units (including subordinates) are running on it.

Press x on any panel to collapse it to just its title bar, freeing up screen space. Press x again to expand it. The panel with focus is highlighted with a distinct border colour (violet in Monokai and Ubuntu themes).

Health

A cross-model health dashboard showing all models across all controllers, sorted by worst status (error → blocked → maintenance → waiting → active). Select a model to see its affected units on the right panel.

Press f to toggle the unhealthy-only filter and hide models where everything is active.

Offers browser (Shift+O)

Lists all offers across every model in the current controller. Select an offer to see:

  • Model, URL, application, charm, description and access level
  • Endpoint details (name, interface, role)
  • Live consumer list — scans all known controllers to find which models and applications are consuming the offer

Secrets browser (Shift+S)

Lists all secrets visible in the current model. Select a secret to see its metadata: owner, revision, rotation policy and timestamps.

Live Log viewer (Shift+L)

Streams model logs in real time via WebSocket — equivalent to juju debug-log. Features:

  • Colour-coded log levels (ERROR red, WARNING orange, INFO green, DEBUG cyan)
  • Filter by any text — matching words are highlighted in the log
  • Cycle minimum log level with l
  • Timestamps converted to local timezone
  • Copy logs to clipboard with y

Relation Data inspector

Press Enter on any relation in the Status tab to open a databag viewer showing the application-level and unit-level relation data for both sides of the relation.

Settings modal (Shift+C)

Press Shift+C to open the unified Settings modal with three sections:

  • Appearance — switch theme with live preview (changes apply instantly)
  • Behaviour — refresh interval (2 s / 5 s / 10 s) and default controller
  • Diagnostics — log level (DEBUG / INFO / WARNING / ERROR / CRITICAL)

All changes are persisted to ~/.config/jujumate/config.yaml immediately on selection. Press Esc to close.

Machine detail modal

Press Enter on any machine row in the Machines panel to open a modal with:

  • Hardware — architecture, CPU cores, RAM, disk size and virtualisation type
  • Status — agent state and instance state, each with a relative timestamp (e.g. 2h ago) and the exact formatted time
  • Network interfaces — per-interface name, all assigned IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, MAC address and Juju space

Press Esc to close the modal.

App Config viewer

Press Enter on any application in the Status tab to inspect its current configuration values.

Drill-down navigation

  1. Select a controller and press Enter → models are filtered to that controller
  2. Select a model and press Enter → Status tab shows that model's full status
  3. Press Esc to clear the filter and return to the full view
